I Burst Into Tears on Friday Morning

I burst into tears this morning. That was after I watched a short video on Youtube. Actually it was posted on FB. As usual I would scroll down my FB feed wall to update myself about my friends and family as well as current news too. I came across this short video posted by a very strong mother. I respect this mother for opting a right decision ever in her life.

14 Months

Happy Thursday everyone. I am sure most of you are now in the mood of holiday as tomorrow is a public holiday. Some might have a half day leave today. Yes, tomorrow is a public holiday in conjunction with Raya Haji. So, I want to take this chance to wish Selamat Hari Raya Haji to all Muslim around the world.

Well today is our little Gabriel special day. He turns 14th months old today. Time really flies. I can't imagine I have been a mother to him for 14th months now. I thanked GOD. He gave me this priceless opportunity to become a mother. Indeed it was such a great experience especially in taking care of our little boy for full time. I guess all SAHMs out there would agreed with me. :)

Happy 1st Birthday to dearest Gabriel

A year ago , i was over the moon, such a bliss to be granted to a healthy baby boy. Despite the suffering and pain to bring him to the world, it all vanished just by looking his cute tiny face. That is the magic touch of a baby and a mother's experience that nothing can compare. It's indeed a blessing. Thank you God for the greatest gift ever.

Today, 1 year old Gabriel Aiden, his cheeky smile always melts mummy's and daddy's heart. Growing up day by day, discovering new things and eager to explore and to learn. Showing us funny things everyday through his learning process. That is really priceless moment. :)

May his journey to explore the world and to a growing up process will be blessed and always in the path of God has made. I pray may God always be with him, to guide and to protect and bless him in everything he does. Still long way to go. Thank you again oh God that you make us to care this special gift so far with full of caution and love.

Happy 1 year old Birthday my dear Gabriel, mummy's apple of eyes. Grow up and go explore the world. Be a kindhearted boy, generous and respect to others. And most important is keep faith in GOD, cause without Him life would be meaningless. :)

Look at what I found!

I came across over an old photo of my hubby and his siblings. The photo was kept inside a folder in our desktop but I never seen it before. I guess I was the one who is quite lazy to browse around the photo folders that were kept in our computer at home.

Eight Months

Yes, it's 8 months now that I am being a mother to my dearest son, Gabriel Aiden. It's also means that our Gabriel is now 8 months old.

Now that Gabriel is 8 months old, he is showing a lot of progress in the process of growing up. Sometime I find it funny. Because you'll find it unpredictable..haha

The other day, he suddenly can put on his 'cucut' (pacifier) by himself. Terjatuh pun dia pandai pungut balik kasi masuk mulut. Bukan tu seja, dia pandai kasi adjust lg tu kalau cucut dia terbalik..LOL And some more, dia pandai kasi ready tu cucut, lepas nenen trus sumbat tu cucut di mulut dia sendiri, laju lagi tu..haha

It is difficult to put diaper pant too. Banyak guyang ba dia. Tidak mau kena kasi pakai diaper. Kasi masuk satu kaki, sebelah terkeluar. Kasi masuk sebelah kaki, terkeluar lg balik satu kaki..haha..funny.. Penat mommy keraja dia..

And he also showing an attempt to sit on his own. Dari baring, dia pandai bangun mau duduk. Beside that, he also show an effort to walk. You just hold his both hands, and he will step his feet forward.  So cute those little foot!.. :)

And one thing I am happy about is, he really can identify his daddy and me as his mommy too. Every time daddy came home from work, he will be very happy.. Gembira betul dia, ketawa2..and main2 hide and seek sama daddy dia.. Pandai dia cari daddy dia.. :D

He also loves to watched babytv very much. Buka saja la channel babytv, mesti dia senyum and ketawa2 saturang tgk tv..haha.. Mcm org tua2 kunun..

There's a lot more progress. He eat a lot too now. Satu mangkuk boleh habis..hehe.. And kalau kena bawa jalan-jalan paling dia suka.. Lumpat2 dia dalam kereta.. Kalau keluar jarak dekat kami tidak kasi duduk dia d car seat. Of course kalau jalan jauh baru kami kasi duduk dia di car seat..

Ini yang dia suka buat kalau duduk di car seat. Tu kaki mesti naik..

Not only on car seat, anytime anywhere..tu kaki mesti mau bersandar. The other day, we were at KFC restaurant, he kicked the table. Nasib tidak jatuh semua tu ayam2 atas meja.. Adui makin nakal ni budak.. Seriously, he likes to kick and to sandar kaki tempat2 mana saja yg boleh dan yg sampai sama kaki dia..  Indeed he really like kicking. Dari dalam perut lagi ba dia kuat kicking.. LOL..

I feel so blessed to see his progress. The feeling of grateful seem not enough. Thank you GOD for the blessings. And thank you for giving me a chance to become a mother to our son Gabriel Aiden. It's a mother feeling..a mother's happiness that no one can replace.

I Can See Your Teeth

Our Gabriel is now 7 months 2 weeks and 3 days old. As you can see, he got 2 TEETH now. I am so happy to see his progress. It feels like time flies so fast!.

Nowadays, Gabriel semakin manja. I guess it is because the teething process. And he always seek for attention. Kalau kena tinggal kejap, nangis la tu..hadui!

 Oh ya and on last Friday, Gabriel suddenly says "Daddy" for the first time. The daddy was very happy and PROUD. Gabriel says it twice. I was very happy to hear it too.. 

Unbelievable isn't it..because he was only 7 months old and able to say "Daddy" already.

By the way, Gabriel will be 8 months old in 2 weeks. Cepatnya anak Mommy membesar. Rindu pula masa dia masi newborn..uhuhuu..

So, what are u planning today?..
For me, tidak dapat go jalan2 coz hujan ba sini Kudat. Planning want to bring Gabriel to visit Simpang Mengayau, tapi terpaksa cancel. :(

Never mind lah..next time baru pigi..

I know it might different with each baby. But it works for Gabriel..:)

We didn't have to wake up at frequently at night to nurse Gabriel. We need to wake up only 2 times to give him milk. That was ever since he entered 2 months old.

Now, he is entering 7 months old, he seldom wake up 2 times at night. We have to give him milk only one time during the night. In fact, this became his sleeping pattern right from he was 5 months old.

So, why don't you have a try for your baby?..:)

Who knows it might works.. :D

This is Insane..

I came across with this video on my Facebook homepage. A friend posted it on FB. I never know that this type of baby yoga exists. 

I didn't dare to watch further. It was really heart-breaking to watch those babies been treated that way. 

I myself as a mother wouldn't dare to treat my baby that way. How could a mother would wants her baby been treated in that way?.. This is totally insane!!.. And how would that type of movements would gain and produce so called health to a baby?..

It's a mother instinct.. You'll know what is good for your baby and this is not certainly the way you want it to be.  I'll bet you would agree with me. Please scroll down and click at the video below. Watch it yourself..

Traumatized

Lately, there were a lot of cases involving abusing toddler at nursery. The death of an infant also increasing due to the careless of caretakers in nursery. Most of the infants died from milk choke.

Few months ago, in fact several weeks ago I came across a news about infants age 2 months old and 6 months old died from milk choke at nursery. I heard cases as similar as these many times. And I don't know why they never learn from the past. 

Most of the employees at nursery have to handle a lot of babies. I think that was the most reason why such cases been reported increasing lately. How a person have to handle 5 babies at the same time?.. And I've been wondering are they experienced enough to take care of the babies?..

I read about a 9 months old baby died too because of the baby left alone with a blanket. The baby wrapped himself with the blanket and died. He can't breath, suffocated by the blanket. The caretaker was handling another baby; bathing another baby. And she left the other baby on his own. That was really unacceptable!

And a few days ago, an employee spread a video about toddlers were wrapped and their mouth put on sellotape while they were sleeping. And later found out, the ex-employee only doing that purposely to sabotaged her ex-employer. This another thing I couldn't ever understand. Why she had to do that to the toddlers?.. Why she had to put the toddlers in that way?.. How could she.. being heartless?.. I saw the video and it was really heartbreaking.. And it traumatized me.. :(

And last night, as I surfed the internet,  I saw a news posted by a friend in an FB group about a toddler at a nursery abused by a caretaker. She put on sellotape on his face especially on the mouth. His hand also been tied. As I saw the photo, my heart really pounding, fills with anger and in sorrow to saw the toddler being treated in that way.. :(

All these news really traumatized me.. I can't imagine if my little Gabriel being treated in that way. And I promised to myself, I really don't want to send my little Gabriel to a nursery, ever. I don't want anything bad happen to him. As a mother/ parent, you would feel how I feel. I am sure most of parents out there would agree with me. No mother or father wants their kids being treated in bad way.. 

I pray may all the babies and toddler even kids at playschool being take care with love and in appropriate way. May GOD protecting them by sending HIS angels. 

Indeed, a child is a precious gift by GOD. Don't let others ruin this gift..

And I pray, may the bad people in these cases will be judged fairly. Please don't ever let them go just like that. Bring justice for the sake of the small victims.

 

He is Strong Enough

As we all know today, 29th February 2012 is a Leap Day. 

It appears once in every 4 years.

So how you celebrate your Leap Day?

 Well, we (3 of us) went to Klinik Ibu dan Anak Penampang today for our little Gabriel's 6 months old appointment.

We reached at KKIA Penampang at 8am, and to my disappointment, we were only entertained at 11am. Mau dekat half day juga ba mau tunggu kami punya turn.. Punya lama.. Kepala pun berasap suda.. Gabriel pun sampai 2 kali tertidur just mau tunggu kami punya turn.. poor Gabriel..hmm!

 I really couldn't understand how they manage the time. It feels like there's no use to set an appointment with the clinic. Ada appointment pun sama juga kena layan macam walk in..hmm..

As I said before, it was Gabriel's 6 months old appointment. He received 2 jabs today. I felt very sad as I saw him jabbed at his hand and thigh. Dia menangis ba kena jab dua kali tu.. sedih saya tengok dia.. :(  It was for hepatitis and measle immunization. 

However, we were really proud of Gabriel. He was really strong enough. Lepas kena jab, sekejap ja dia nangis. Lepas keluar dari klinik, ketawa2 and lompat2 suda dia.. When I see this, my heart felt so relieved and I didn't worried anymore about how he had to suffer the pain of the twice jabs. 

Seeing he smiling really made my day. Thank you GOD, everything is fine. Until now (11.33pm), Gabriel still okay..Tiada tanda-tanda demam. (suppose to be mesti ada demam tu, according tu nurse la.. itu side effect of the jabs) 

And we have to wait again another 6-10 days whether the fever will appear or not. Hopefully nothing worse happen. I pray may Gabriel will always in good condition. :D

Gabriel's Baptism Day

As I mentioned in my previous post, I will write more on our little Gabriel's baptism day. So here it is..

It was on 5th February 2012. The ceremony started at 3pm. We (dear hubby and I, of course with our little Gabriel) arrived at Sacred Heart Cathedral as early as 2.30pm. As we went inside the church, there was a long row of parents registering their attendance. There were 57 babies to be baptized on that day.

At first hour, Gabriel behaved well. However towards the next hours, he started to make some noise.. Maybe sebab dia mengantuk or kepanasan dalam church tu because we sat slightly far from fan. However, all in controlled. We managed to took care of him..

Our little Gabriel was baptized by Deacon Jeffrey Gumu and his Godfather is Mr Arthur Makulim. As soon as Gabriel was baptized, we then changed his cloth to a white color. It's a symbol of that Gabriel is now a Christian.

The baptism ceremony ended around 4.30pm. We were informed that the baptism certificate could be obtained 3 weeks after the ceremony.

Thank you GOD, everything went well. Gabriel is now a part of us. He is a Catholic now.  I hope he will always in GOD's care and will become a good Christian, obedient to his parents, respect others and leading his life according to GOD's way.

And afterwards, the whole family had dinner at May Flower Restaurant at Jalan Bundusan. Gabriel started not feeling easy this time. Nangis bah dia.. Maybe he was really sleepy but couldn't sleep because of the noisiness at the restaurant. Poor Gabriel. I guess he was really too tired and sleepy. He fall asleep right after we got in car on our way went back home. Lagipun masa di church and di restaurant ganti-ganti bah org pigi dukung dia.. tu la kali penat betul dia..

Gabriel's Baptism Cake..

I am grateful that Gabriel is now a part of us. I know it is a long way to go. I really hope hubby and I can be a good guidance to him along the process of growing up. I pray may GOD send His Holy Spirit to help us to guide him to be a great person in the future. GOD bless Gabriel Aiden.. :D

Blessed Sunday for our lil boy ;)

Just came back home few hours ago. Indeed it was blessed Sunday for our lil' Gabriel. Today, Gabriel is official a Catholic.  Thank you GOD, everything went well. ;)

Oh what a tired Sunday.. The clock is showing 10.48pm now.

Will write more on it plus adding photos in next post.

Menurut laporan disiarkan Jiji Press, Yuko Soutome mencari mangsa terdiri daripada wanita yang membawa anak mereka di pasar raya atau kedai menjual barangan bayi.

Agensi berita itu menyatakan, mahkamah di Utsunomia di utara Tokyo diberitahu, dalam empat kejadian berasingan, Yuko, 30, berpura-pura meminta kebenaran kepada wanita terbabit untuk mendukung anak mereka.

Ketika mendukung itulah Yuko mematahkan kaki bayi terbabit.

Laporan Jiji Press menyatakan, janda itu terdorong melakukan kezaliman berkenaan selepas berasa sakit hati apabila melihat wanita lain yang hidup lebih gembira berbanding dirinya. - AFP

Time Flies..

Hello dear friends,

It's the 2nd day of February 2012. Time flies really fast. I couldn't even imagine how time goes on and at the end of the day I found myself here sitting next to my grown up baby Gabriel.

I still remember carrying him in a wrap. But now here is he.. sitting, laughing, rolling, laying up side down. Dan yang paling ketara, he likes to seek for attention. Kalau tidak kena peduli, terus yelling menangis ni..doii.. LOL.. he become active nowadays. He is 5 months old now and there's a lot of progress to see day by day.

Definitely I thank GOD for this miracle of life. A precious gift that I'll never get from just anywhere. I am still in the learning phase of being a mother. I hope as time goes by, I'll become wiser and reaching towards a better mother as to my dear son. 

Lil' Gabriel is watching his fav show. :)

You'll realize your lil baby is grown up when you see he's enjoying his favorite show. :)

Let's Do Some Yoga

LOL.. Actually these were just several pictures of Gabriel doing some stretching while playing with his toy. That was as early as 7am. Yes, he woke up really early every morning. Mostly around 5am to 6am. He always did funny things that I couldn't forget. I think this was the first time he did so. He put his leg up as high as he could. I found it was really funny. Indeed that was really a priceless moment. ( those mommies out there would really get what i mean )

He is growing really fast. I am afraid that i could not see those moments anymore. :(
I don't want to miss those priceless moments. Therefore i always capture the moments as many as i can.

Let those special moments be kept in pictures. So that they will not vanish as time goes by. And to reminds me how priceless this God's gift is. I pray that he will be always taken care by GOD because this gift is really owned by GOD.

My task is bringing him up into this world, as well as taking him with well care so that one day he will be good to others and live his life according to GOD's will ; responsibilities of a mother given by GOD.
