Father's Day 2013

Father's Day this year was quite special for me, although we celebrated the event over only a simple lunch and dinner. Yes, we celebrated over a lunch for my daddy, while dinner for my hubby's daddy.

This year was a special because I get to baked cuppies for my daddy for the first time. I mean, I baked for the first time for father's day. I never bake anything before for Father's day. All these years, i would buy cakes from my fav cake shop in Damai.

The Kadazan Dusun Murut ethic will celebrate Harvest Festival on the month of May every year. And the celebration is at the peak on 31st of May.

So, I take this opportunity to wish Happy Harvest Festival. Remember to not drink too much. Drink in moderation only ok..

A Blogger Friend's Wedding & Mother's Day 2013

This post was supposed to be posted about 2 weeks ago. Due to busy with my lil boy and baking projects, I have to hold on this post for a while until today. :D

So, today I like to share with you these photos of a blogger friend who had tied knot  on 11th May 2013.

Valentine's Day 2013

I suppose to post about the Ladies Blogger Lunch Gathering which was held yesterday. But i think i should post about V-Day first before proceed to the LBLG post.

Our Valentine's Day this year wasn't as fancy as years before. I decided to only stay at home rather to dine out. After all, it is Lenten Season. Therefore, I don't want to celebrate it with too much food or at some expensive restaurant. The Lenten season is all about less food and living in a modest life.

CNY 2013

How is your Chinese New Year Celebration so far?.. It's the 4th day of CNY. I bet it must be fun and wonderful. Kids and youngsters must be so happy too with the angpows and fireworks. The adults busy with the family gathering and eating, eating and eating. Talking about eating, I think I gained few kgs because of the eating feast. Oh my gosh!

Our CNY celebration this year is not that really huge. Honestly, we don't really celebrate CNY. A simple lunch on the 1st day of CNY just to mark a family gathering on CNY. I do have the blood of Chinese but it is from my great great grandfather. My great great grandpa is purely from Hong Kong. His daughter (my grandma) married to my grandpa who is a Kadazanese from Papar.  And his granddaughter (my mom) married to my dad who is from Tuaran. That made me KadazanDusun.

Cheongsam Oh Cheongsam!

Today I'm gonna write about Cheongsam. Eh why Cheongsam?..haha

Well, as today is the last day of January, we will be entering the month of LOVE. Yes, we're welcoming February with warm heart.

As we all know, Chinese New Year also falls on February. Wyne, our fellow blogger has conducting the Ladies Blogger Lunch Gathering and she invites me and I guess most of the ladies blogger in KK too. I think she conducting this gathering together with another fellow blogger, Just.

The criteria of the gathering, you have to wear Cheongsam. 

First Post for 2013

Hello dear readers,

How are you?..How was your Christmas and New Year celebration? How is your New Year so far?.. 

Today we are in the fourth day of the year 2013. Thank you GOD that we are actually still can breath and live happily here on earth. The Mayan calendar and the prediction of  'the end of the world' somehow freaked out a lot of people. Well, for me as a Christian, it's hard for me to believe things like that. I actually believe that only God knows the actual date of 'the end of the world'. No human, or even angels know about the date, only GOD himself.

The Christmas Celebration

How's you Christmas celebration so far? I bet it must be fabulous and fun! But at least we should realize that the reason of the celebration is the birthday of our Lord Jesus. Amen!

The celebration of Christmas this year so interesting. As usual it was very emotional thing for me as we get to see each other and family gathering is all I want for Christmas. Nothing can compare the family gathering moment, because as we grown up especially when you have your own family, it's really hard to hold a family gathering. So Christmas Day would be a perfect day to gather all family members. :)

The Love of My Life's Birthday

Dear hubby's birthday was on 17th Dec. But I decided to celebrate with him the day before as his family might set a plan to celebrate the birthday with him. I wanted some privacy of only 3 of us to celebrate his birthday. Yes, it's only hubby, me and our dear lil son.

I gave a treat at Promenade Hotel for hubby's birthday. He really liked it. Ya la kan high-tea buffet..Makan sampai kenyang ma..hehe..!

My Birthday Dec 2012

Hi dear readers, 

It's been a while. Been busy with family matters. I promise myself to update this blog as soon as possible before Christmas. Oh yes, Christmas is around the corner. I am really excited. I bet you must be excited too!

Today I went to Karamunsing Complex to shop for Christmas Tree (well I hope it's not too late, Christmas is only 5 days to go ) and few gifts to my niece and nephew. To my surprise I ran into a gorgeous blogger friend. Siapa lagi kalau bukan si Wyne haha.. :D She's really a happy go lucky person. The moment she saw me, she shouts my name..haha.. It was really nice to see her in person. I hope to see more of her soon together with other blogger friends too. :D

I had a great day today and thank you so much to dear hubby for being there on my birthday. He took a day off from his work to spend time with me and Gabriel.

My Favourite Month of The Year

DECEMBER!

Indeed. December is my favorite month of the year. In fact it's my favorite month for every year. Well who's doesn't?.. I bet most of you will be the same isn't it?.. :D Most of our friends might booked for holiday destinations or had sent their leave applications. Well whatever it is, it's for the very holiday season. Everybody is exciting. The HOLIDAY mood is in the air.. :P

I'm counting days for CHRISTMAS celebration. But not only that, I'm counting for BIRTHDAYS and ANNIVERSARY too. (yeay!) 

9 DAYS until my Birthday and 13 DAYS to hubby's Birthday. 24 DAYS to our 5th Wedding Anniversary.

Wow! It's SO exciting. :D

Gabriel 1st Birthday Celebration

I should post an entry about my trip to Phuket, but I guess, I should post about this event first. I'll proceed with the Phuket story soon, after this post. :)

Gabriel 1st birthday party was held at Tasty Kitchen Lounge in Putatan on the 26th August 2012. It was really just a simple birthday celebration. We were indeed feel so blessed and grateful that Gabriel is now reached the age of 1 year old. He is not so baby anymore. He is entering to a toddler world and I am sure he is having fun to explore his surrounding.

A Photobook for Gabriel's Baptism

I saw a deal from ILoveDiscount.my somewhere in January.  The deal was  RM52 (75% Off) for RM208 worth of Personalised Photo Albums from Photobook Malaysia. Without hesisted I grabbed this deal with Gabriel in my mind. Yes, I was thinking to create a photobook for Gabriel.

Bazaar Ramadhan at Kudat

First of all, i like to wish ' Selamat Berpuasa' to all our Muslim friends. :D

The fasting month for Muslims is the most favourite month for me. And why is that?.. I think you can figure it out already. Yes, of course! There's a lot bazaar Ramadhan on this fasting month. :D

Opps.. i think my diet regime is now "rosak" already seeing those delicious food.. haha!

Can't Wait August

Hello dear friends, it's Monday.

Feels like a blue Monday?.. Don't be. Be positive and just think that the time will pass soon. Trust me, time really flies real soon. :D

So what is so interesting about August?.. Well, it would be a big event for my dearest son, Gabriel. He will turn 1 year old on the 25th of August. It feels like time really flies.

Just A Short Trip- Part 1

Hello dear friends,

How is your Thursday so far?..  I hope all is fine. Tomorrow will be Friday. How time flies. Seems like we just celebrating the Kaamatan Festive on last 30th & 31st May and now we are on the 7th day of the month of June.

By the way, the Kaamatan Festive this year marks the 5th Anniversary of our engagement day. On Kaamatan morning, during our way for breakfast, hubby suddenly wished 'happy anniversary' to me and I went blank for a while. (doi lupa sekijap LOL).. and definitely right after that i remember it was our engagement day anniversary. Hubby treated me with my fav meal at Upperstar Restaurant in Damai, Luyang. :D

***Ok let's move to another story..hehe..

Actually today I would like to share about our trip to KL on last May. It was on 23rd May to 26th May. Our flight KL-KK was changed to 26th due to unavoidably reason. Suppose we should returned to KK on 28th and due to that we couldn't manage to bring Gabriel for a trip to Cameron Highland. What to do.. I believe there is always next time. So, no worry..will bring Gabriel to there for sure someday ;)

We took 3.30pm flight to KL on 23rd May. Our flight was delayed for about 30mins. Well you know-lah AirAsia.. mesti ada delay punya..

This was the 1st time Gabriel traveling on a flight. I actually a bit worried on how Gabriel would behave during a travel in a flight. We used to travel KK-Kudat every weekend. The journey took about 3 hrs, and he used to it. But now it's different. Because traveling via flight; I have to carry him, there's no speacial seat provided for him.

Thank GOD, he was ok with it. And the funny thing is he went poo poo pula.. LOL.

Pesta Kaamatan

Pesta Kaamatan which is means Harvest Festival always being celebrated on the month of May here in Sabah. It is celebrated by the ethnic of Kadazan Dusun and Murut. The peak of the feast is on 30th May and 31st May.

So, I want to take this opportunity to all wish Happy Kaamatan to all Sabahans. Eventhough this celebration mostly involving drinks(local alcoholic drinks), please remember that it is dangerous to drink and drive. 

Drink moderately and please consider the safety of others too.
