Heartbreaking :(
I supposed to post about my birthday celebration. But I can't help to write about my feeling about this.
How can that particular people think about pulling a trigger towards those young children in school. The children must be terrified and crying during the scene.
My heart totally broken when I heard about the news. 20 young children become victims. The parents must be too shock to received the news and I can't even imagine how would they felt towards the tragedy.
My prayer with the victims and their family as well. Hope they gain strength to face the day, towards the tragedy. They lost their precious child towards that particular lunatic people. And I read that the shooter also was killed. He killed himself.

BERSIH 3.0
The day where the BERSIH 3.0 happened, we (Hubby, Gabriel and I) were heading to KK from Kudat. We went through 4 roadblocks. The road traffics were really jammed.
I read a friend status on FB via ipad during the ride. I remember as I read it, I was at Tuaran area. She wrote that a DHL worker been detained by a police at Esso Bundusan because he was wearing a yellow shirt. And the yellow shirt was actually a formal uniform for the DHL worker. It has nothing to do with BERSIH thingy.
Coincidentally, I was looking at a roundabout during our way out from Tuaran area. There were peoples wearing yellow shirt, cutting grasses and leaves at the roundabout. I was wondering if police would detain these peoples too..LOL.
I made a joke with hubby. Just for fun, I was asking him, "If Gabriel is wearing yellow shirt, would the police detain him?". And to my surprised, hubby answered, " Ya, kena tangkap juga! (with serious tone). Dorang kasi nenen dia. Kasitau pukul berapa kasi tidur, pukul berapa kasi nenen.." LOL, i thought it was serious. Tau-tau dia balas jawapan yg kasi main sya juga..deiii..
p/s: I heard the BERSIH 3.0 in KK was a peaceful rally. :D

It Is Always Better To Double Check
Hello everyone.
It's been a while. Today I want to share with you about my experience purchasing goods at Giant. Been experiencing this situation for many times though. However, this time around luckily we found out it before we even reached home. :)
I would like to share with you out there who are always purchasing goods/ groceries at Giant Hypermall. It is always better to double check with the prices that been charged for you. The prices might not tally with the final scan at the counter.
Yesterday, we (hubby and I) went to Giant Kolombong to shopped some groceries. It happens that I bought 2 pieces of Gabriel's pyjamas which were stated RM7.99 each at the price tags.
And we discovered that the prices suddenly became RM14.99 each after the scanned. By the time we discovered the differences of prices, we already did the payment.
Unsatisfied with the situation, hubby went to the purchasing counter again to argue about the matter. Luckily, we managed to refund our money back.
The receipt.
Written with blue pen were the actual prices.
These are the pyjamas.
Okay, that's it for today. I bet some of you might experienced the same, isn't it?..
Sharing is caring. :D
Sharing is caring. :D
Have a blessed weekend.

This is Insane..
I came across with this video on my Facebook homepage. A friend posted it on FB. I never know that this type of baby yoga exists.
I didn't dare to watch further. It was really heart-breaking to watch those babies been treated that way.
I myself as a mother wouldn't dare to treat my baby that way. How could a mother would wants her baby been treated in that way?.. This is totally insane!!.. And how would that type of movements would gain and produce so called health to a baby?..
It's a mother instinct.. You'll know what is good for your baby and this is not certainly the way you want it to be. I'll bet you would agree with me. Please scroll down and click at the video below. Watch it yourself..
Thank GOD. This video is controversial among people around the globe. And i know it is definitely right to banned this!..

Traumatized
Lately, there were a lot of cases involving abusing toddler at nursery. The death of an infant also increasing due to the careless of caretakers in nursery. Most of the infants died from milk choke.
Few months ago, in fact several weeks ago I came across a news about infants age 2 months old and 6 months old died from milk choke at nursery. I heard cases as similar as these many times. And I don't know why they never learn from the past.
Most of the employees at nursery have to handle a lot of babies. I think that was the most reason why such cases been reported increasing lately. How a person have to handle 5 babies at the same time?.. And I've been wondering are they experienced enough to take care of the babies?..
baby chokes easily while drinking bottle milk
I read about a 9 months old baby died too because of the baby left alone with a blanket. The baby wrapped himself with the blanket and died. He can't breath, suffocated by the blanket. The caretaker was handling another baby; bathing another baby. And she left the other baby on his own. That was really unacceptable!
And a few days ago, an employee spread a video about toddlers were wrapped and their mouth put on sellotape while they were sleeping. And later found out, the ex-employee only doing that purposely to sabotaged her ex-employer. This another thing I couldn't ever understand. Why she had to do that to the toddlers?.. Why she had to put the toddlers in that way?.. How could she.. being heartless?.. I saw the video and it was really heartbreaking.. And it traumatized me.. :(
And last night, as I surfed the internet, I saw a news posted by a friend in an FB group about a toddler at a nursery abused by a caretaker. She put on sellotape on his face especially on the mouth. His hand also been tied. As I saw the photo, my heart really pounding, fills with anger and in sorrow to saw the toddler being treated in that way.. :(
A toddler being tied and his face was put on sellotape.
All these news really traumatized me.. I can't imagine if my little Gabriel being treated in that way. And I promised to myself, I really don't want to send my little Gabriel to a nursery, ever. I don't want anything bad happen to him. As a mother/ parent, you would feel how I feel. I am sure most of parents out there would agree with me. No mother or father wants their kids being treated in bad way..
I pray may all the babies and toddler even kids at playschool being take care with love and in appropriate way. May GOD protecting them by sending HIS angels.
Indeed, a child is a precious gift by GOD. Don't let others ruin this gift..
And I pray, may the bad people in these cases will be judged fairly. Please don't ever let them go just like that. Bring justice for the sake of the small victims.

Whitney Houston dead at 48
LOS ANGELES, (AFP) - Pop legend and actress Whitney Houston died in a Beverly Hills hotel, triggering shock and tributes as the music world gathered for the annual Grammy awards show. She was 48.
Houston, whose hits include "I will Always Love You," was found dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton, hours before a traditional pre-Grammys dinner at the hotel where she was reportedly due to perform. Musicians, gathered ahead of the Grammys on Sunday evening, lined up to pay tribute to the singer, who sold over 170 million records before descending into a very public battle with substance abuse.
"She was one of the greatest singers I ever heard," said veteran crooner Tony Bennett, on the red carpet at the Beverly Hills hotel, where Houston's body was found in her fourth floor room.
Police confirmed her death in a brief statement outside the hotel, where stars were gathering for the annual pre-Grammys dinner hosted by veteran producer Clive Davis.
"At 3:55 pm, Whitney Houston was pronounced dead at the Beverly Hilton hotel," said Mark Rosen, a police spokesman.
Rosen said police received an emergency call from someone in her entourage and found Houston on the floor of her room as attempts were being made to resuscitate her.
"There were no obvious signs of criminal intent at this time, and it is being investigated by the Beverly Hills police department," the police spokesman added. The cause of death was not immediately known.
People magazine and the TMZ celebrity website reported that Houston had been due to perform at the Saturday night dinner, but this could not immediately be confirmed.
A mobile crime laboratory and a number of police cars were stationed outside the hotel, while inside guests watched live television coverage about Houston's death. Condolences poured in on Twitter from shocked fans and from the famous, as sadness over the news spread through the entertainment world.
"Heartbroken and in tears over the shocking death of my friend ... She will never be forgotten as one of the greatest voices to ever grace the earth," wrote Mariah Carey.
"We have lost another legend. Love and prayers to Whitney's family. She will be missed," said Christina Aguilera, while Rihanna wrote simply: "No words! Just tears #DearWhitney."
Smokey Robinson told CNN: "I will always love her. She is one of the greatest voices in the history of music."
Grammys organizers the Recording Academy are scrambling to include some kind of tribute to Houston in Sunday's show at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, according to CNN.
The tribute could involve singer Jennifer Hudson, it added, while Grammys producer Ken Ehrlich told the broadcaster: "Knowing Whitney as I did she knew the importance of thrilling an audience, and that's what we still plan to do."
With a ferociously powerful voice and a dazzling range, Houston achieved stardom as a pop-soul singer known as "The Voice" and the "Queen of Pop." She also appeared in hit movies like "Waiting to Exhale" and "The Bodyguard."
From a musical family that included mother Cissy Houston, a gospel star, and Dionne Warwick, her cousin, Whitney Houston started out as a teen model and then made a dazzling segue to music.
Her hits included "How Will I Know," "Saving all My Love for You," and "I Will Always Love You."
Houston's trove of six Grammy awards included one for record of the year -- for a soaring cover of Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You," and another for album of the year for "The Bodyguard."
Houston, who grew up in New Jersey, was also a supporter of the anti-apartheid movement and South Africa's Nelson Mandela, on whose behalf she campaigned during his imprisonment.
She struggled with substance abuse, which took a toll on her health and career.
Houston has sold more than 170 million records worldwide but suffered a major career setback after admitting drug use during an abusive relationship with ex-husband Bobby Brown.
Brown was one of the hottest rhythm and blues singers in the late 1980s and early 90s, but became better known as the husband of Houston and for his frequent brushes with drugs and the law.
The pair, who were divorced in 2007, starred in a television reality series, "Being Bobby Brown," that featured their marriage, warts and all. They have a daughter Bobbi Kristina.
Brown was detained in Atlanta in 1993 for lewd conduct and for brawling in 1995. He was arrested for drunk driving in 1996 and for alleged battery of Houston in late 2003.

Amazing houses made from recycled plastic bottles
Whenever we think of a shelter, from construction to habitation, we crave to beautify it with the best we have at our disposal. Since most of us have neither the resources nor funds to realize our aspirations, why don’t we utilize the superfluous scraps? I am talking about the items that we generally consider as trash: more specifically, the plastic bottles. Using them constructively, eco-creators have fashioned certain eco-homes that simply defy the limits of affordable and sustainable housing.
Stella says: Amazing.. This is really creative.. :)

KFC Attack, Not a Racial Issue
KUALA LUMPUR: The graphic designer who was assaulted by a fast food outlet worker is urging the public not to turn it into a racial issue, saying the real matter is about customer service.Danny Ng also denied uttering racist comments that provoked the attack at a KFC outlet in Shah Alam on Monday.
“I regret the allegations of racial sentiment and urge Netizens to stop all this nonsense as they were not at the scene,” said Ng, 26. Ng only lodged a report at the Petaling police station on Wednesday as he thought he had no proof of the assault.
“I found out on Facebook that somebody had posted a video clip and I lodged a report after that,” Ng said at a press conference at Segambut MP Lim Lip Eng's service centre here.
Ng had visited i-City on Monday with his wife and sister to redeem vouchers worth RM132 which were bought online two weeks earlier.
The vouchers, which would have expired the next day, included a meal at KFC as well as admission to the ferris wheel, snow house and outdoor rides. The three went to the restaurant at 10.15pm and saw long queues as many customers were redeeming their vouchers.
After waiting for about 45 minutes, Ng heard customers ahead of him complaining that there was not enough chicken. “After the cashier told us they had ran out of chicken, some of us complained.“One of the kitchen staff said, Sudah habis, apa lagi mau? (There is no more chicken. What else do you want?)',” he said. He said a worker then uttered derogatory remarks, following which he asked to see the manager to complain.
Ng claimed that the manager refused to attend to him. At this time, Ng's wife claimed that she saw several workers brandishing steel bars from inside the kitchen and quickly pulled her husband out of the restaurant. However, Ng was dissatisfied and re-entered the restaurant to photograph and take down names of the workers.
“When I raised my phone to take pictures, a group of them rushed out from the kitchen. A few of the staff members tried to intervene but one of them ran towards me, grabbed my neck and punched me on the back of my head,” he said, adding that they would be meeting representatives from KFC to resolve the matter.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the company confirmed three employees had been suspended pending investigations.

KOTA KINABALU: A Sabahan has forked out half a million ringgit to build Malaysia's first upside down house to send out an environmental message. Alexander Yee said the unusual structure at Kampung Bantayan-Telibong, about 40km from the city, was worth every sen.
“If we keep exploiting our natural resources at the rate we are going, sooner or later we will find our world upside down,” said Yee, who owns a construction firm besides operating a tourist lodge in the wildlife-rich Kinabatangan district in Sabah's east coast.

RON 97 to cost 20 sen more from today
PETALING JAYA: The price of premium petrol RON 97 will be increased by 20 sen to RM2.90 per litre today.
Malaysian Petrol Dealers Association president Datuk Hashim Othman, who confirmed this, said the price hike would be effective at midnight yesterday.
“The price of RON 97 currently fluctuates as the Government has lifted the subsidy for this petrol,” he said.
He added that the recent occurrences of global natural disasters and the political instability in the Middle East had caused an increase in crude oil prices.
Hashim said crude oil prices dipped slightly after the United States announced the death of terrorist Osama bin Laden.
“The price of RON 97 might go down in the future, but that depends on the political situation in the Middle East,” he said.
“Natural disasters will also affect the price.”
Hashim, however, added that the price of RON 95, which is subsidised, would stay at RM1.90 per litre.
Last month, Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai told Parliament that the Government had spent RM23.1bil on oil subsidies in 2010 compared with RM33.2bil in 2008.
He added that the Government had only allowed an increase of RON 97 petrol prices and left RON 95 unchanged to ensure that the people were not economically burdened.

The used bras will be given to unfortunate and needy women to help improve their lives.
Xixili brand founder and chief executive officer Joanne Khoo hoped the campaign would encourage recycling while helping the needy.
“Instead of disposing old bras and increasing the amount of waste, why not contribute it towards a good cause?” she said at the campaign launch in Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur recently.
Officiating the campaign was Women’s Development Department director Wan Hasmah Wan Mohd, who was full of praise for the move.
“Undergarments are often neglected by organisations when providing aid to disaster victims or the unfortunate, but in fact, it is one of the main necessities for women,” she said.
She said undergarments were essential in giving support, confidence and helps uplift women in their daily lives.
“We will also be working with Xixili on future projects for environment conservation and practical ways to empower women,” she said.
Renowned shoemaker Datuk Jimmy Choo, who was also present at the event, agreed it is important to educate people on practical green initiatives.
“Although I don’t wear a bra, I support this campaign as it teaches people how to go green,” he said.
At the campaign, Xixili also appointed their new brand ambassador, Miss Malaysia World 2010 Nadia Heng.
“I have always been a fan of protecting the environment and I advocate this campaign as it teaches us that almost everything can be recycled,” said Heng.
The launch was a star-studded event with celebrities like Amber Chia, Cassandra Patrick, Prema Yin, Chermaine Poo, Janet Lee and Nicolas Giogiou showing their support for the campaign.
The campaign will be ongoing until April 30. To participate, visit any Xixili outlets and bring a used or unwanted bra to receive a rebate of RM10.
Additionally, purchase above RM100 at Xixili and receive a complimentary Protect Mother Earth bag and biodegradable cutlery by Jasa Eco.

Yahoo lists Penang among world’s top 10
Penang Char Kway Teow, the most famous dish in Penang. Absolutely tasty..
GEORGE TOWN: An online travel guide has picked Penang as one of the top 10 islands in the world “you must see before you die.”
Yahoo! Travel writer Gary McKechnie ranks Penang eighth on the list of the “must visit” places.
Other islands listed are Bali, Vieques in Puerto Rico, Easter Island in Chile, Ischia in the bay of Naples (Italy), Chiloe in Chile, Bora Bora in French Polynesia, Key West in the Conch Republic, Galapagos in Ecuador and Palm Islands in Dubai.
These destinations offered something that could not be found anywhere else, said McKechnie in his article ‘10 Islands to Explore Before You Die’ (http://travel.yahoo.com/p-interests-37926474).
He praised Penang as Malaysia’s food capital and suggested that visitors did their “food crawl” along George Town’s street stalls.
He recommended that foodies head to the area adjacent to the Kek Lok Si Temple in Ayer Itam to feast on delicious food of rice, noodles, fish, shellfish, chicken, pork and vegetables.
He also suggested visitors try out lor bak, lok-lok and ikan bakar.
On the local architecture, he described Penang as having a range of modern high-rise buildings to 19th-century British architecture.
He also pointed out a mix of beach resorts, preserved mangroves, fishing villages, temples, mosques and churches.
“Kek Lok Si was the best example as the largest Buddhist temple in South-East Asia,” he said.
