May is the month of “ Pesta Kaamatan” or Harvest Festival. This is an annual event which is celebrated by Kadazandusun ethnic here in Sabah, Malaysia. The celebration always consists of traditional dance, traditional games, traditional songs and famous of all is its beauty pageant competition called as “Unduk Ngadau” in Kadazandusun language. This is the month of thanksgiving for their success in harvesting their crop.
I want to take this opportunity to wish “Kotobian Tadau Tagazo do Kaamatan” to all Kadazandusun.. ;)
