My late afternoon snack yesterday. Banana-Strawberry-Blackgrapes smoothie. So delicious and simple to make. You just blend all the fruits together with any type of low fat unsweetened milk or maybe if you don't have milk, you can use 1 cup of water. I always used unsweetened soya or almond milk.

My New Passion after Baking
I am currently practicing Yoga. The art of yoga is really beautiful. I fall in love with it the moment I did few of its pose.
I was actually invited by a friend to do yoga almost 4 weeks ago. She's really into yoga too. My friend, Ms Lydia explained to me how yoga is not only for physical appearance, it is actually good for your internal body, such as improves the digestion, blood circulation, breathing and so on.

Standing Abs Workout
I've been working out on several parts of my body especially on my abs. I came across this abs workout video on Youtube by Jillian Micheal. She was a professional fitness trainer in The Biggest Loser show.
She always inspiring me. I wish I could turn my body into just like her. Could I ?.. Nothing is impossible. Faith and effort as well as workout routine with proper diet should lead to a body just like her ( i guess). Yes, it should be true.
Here is the video:-
Jillian Michaels: Standing Abs Workout is a short abdominal exercise circuit that is designed to sculpt six pack abs, strengthen the core, burn calories, and tone the oblique muscles. Blast belly fat, slim the waistline and get shredded for summer with America's Toughest Trainer, Jillian Michaels. Try this unique ab workout anywhere and transform yourself for swimsuit-ready results!
Okay, that's it for now. You may try the workout too. It looks easy, but not that easy though. The most important is you should do each workout pattern with frequent repetition then you can see the good result. :)

The Things I Must Apply Everyday
These are the things I must apply everyday. Twice a day.
3 products for skin and 1 for hair-growth.
They're literally not that expensive. But they are fantastic and I think they suit me. I have to workout more on my skin and hair since I delivered my lil' boy.

Just recovered
I just recovered from flu and coughing. In fact, i am recovering. I mean no more flu, but there's slightly coughs. I suffered from headache too while attacked by these flu and coughs. Thank GOD, the recovering day is here. It was almost a week though.
The toughest thing i had to do was to take care of Gabriel (our 10 old months baby) during my illness days. I was afraid he will catch these flu and coughs too. And in my weak condition, I had to entertain him, as well as to feed and give him bath.

Ladies, Be Kind To Your Body
source: Google
Be wishing you were 10 kilograms lighter or that you had fuller 'assets', being critical of how your body looks is probably a habit most of women familiar with. However, constantly being unhappy with what you have and putting yourself down for it can do even more harm than you thought.

My Baby is Sleeping Well..
Yes..indeed. This is the secret on how my baby sleeps well during the night.
My baby is sleeping well with these Johnson Bedtime Products. :D
Baby Bedtime bath by Johnson & Johnson
Baby Bedtime Oil by Johnson & Johnson
Baby Bedtime Powder by Johnson & Johnson
Haven't try it before?.. Try it..:)
I know it might different with each baby. But it works for Gabriel..:)
We didn't have to wake up at frequently at night to nurse Gabriel. We need to wake up only 2 times to give him milk. That was ever since he entered 2 months old.
Now, he is entering 7 months old, he seldom wake up 2 times at night. We have to give him milk only one time during the night. In fact, this became his sleeping pattern right from he was 5 months old.
So, why don't you have a try for your baby?..:)
Who knows it might works.. :D

This is Insane..
I came across with this video on my Facebook homepage. A friend posted it on FB. I never know that this type of baby yoga exists.
I didn't dare to watch further. It was really heart-breaking to watch those babies been treated that way.
I myself as a mother wouldn't dare to treat my baby that way. How could a mother would wants her baby been treated in that way?.. This is totally insane!!.. And how would that type of movements would gain and produce so called health to a baby?..
It's a mother instinct.. You'll know what is good for your baby and this is not certainly the way you want it to be. I'll bet you would agree with me. Please scroll down and click at the video below. Watch it yourself..
Thank GOD. This video is controversial among people around the globe. And i know it is definitely right to banned this!..

He is Strong Enough
As we all know today, 29th February 2012 is a Leap Day.
It appears once in every 4 years.
So how you celebrate your Leap Day?
Well, we (3 of us) went to Klinik Ibu dan Anak Penampang today for our little Gabriel's 6 months old appointment.
We reached at KKIA Penampang at 8am, and to my disappointment, we were only entertained at 11am. Mau dekat half day juga ba mau tunggu kami punya turn.. Punya lama.. Kepala pun berasap suda.. Gabriel pun sampai 2 kali tertidur just mau tunggu kami punya turn.. poor Gabriel..hmm!
I really couldn't understand how they manage the time. It feels like there's no use to set an appointment with the clinic. Ada appointment pun sama juga kena layan macam walk in..hmm..
As I said before, it was Gabriel's 6 months old appointment. He received 2 jabs today. I felt very sad as I saw him jabbed at his hand and thigh. Dia menangis ba kena jab dua kali tu.. sedih saya tengok dia.. :( It was for hepatitis and measle immunization.
However, we were really proud of Gabriel. He was really strong enough. Lepas kena jab, sekejap ja dia nangis. Lepas keluar dari klinik, ketawa2 and lompat2 suda dia.. When I see this, my heart felt so relieved and I didn't worried anymore about how he had to suffer the pain of the twice jabs.
Seeing he smiling really made my day. Thank you GOD, everything is fine. Until now (11.33pm), Gabriel still okay..Tiada tanda-tanda demam. (suppose to be mesti ada demam tu, according tu nurse la.. itu side effect of the jabs)
And we have to wait again another 6-10 days whether the fever will appear or not. Hopefully nothing worse happen. I pray may Gabriel will always in good condition. :D
Little Gabriel playing hide and seek..
LOL actually dia sedang tidur ba ni.. Memang gaya dia tidur gitu.. :D
LOL actually dia sedang tidur ba ni.. Memang gaya dia tidur gitu.. :D
That was my Leap Day..hehe.. How about you?..
You post about it. I'll come over to read.. :D
GOD bless.

I'm Not Worried Anymore
Three months ago I started of having really bad hairfall problem. It was due to post pregnancy. When our Gabriel entered his second months, I noticed that my hair started to fall tremendously. It scared me.
Really.. I endured this problem for the last 3 months. I still remember when I went to a salon to washed and cut my hair. The girl at the salon said I lost so much hair during the washing process. She said " nah..bnyk rambut ko jatuh. Ko tidak takut ka? " ( while showing me the hair.. Satu genggam ba rambut sya gugur.. )
Honestly, it was really scared me. But I pretend to be positive. Well, that's what should I do. It just a process being a mother. So, nothing to worry about, my hair will grow back. That's what I told myself.
Thank GOD, all back to normal. In the 5th months after delivery, my hair doesn't fall anymore. I mean it did fall but not that bad. ;)

I want to grow long hair again. Really miss my long hair moment.
That's it for now. So, those who're having hairfall problem can try my solution. Maybe it could solve your hair problem too. :)
Take care.

Struggling.. but not anymore
For the last 2 weeks, I found myself struggling with food. I was struggling to avoid taking much food. And it was really hard. Yes, true.. it was very very very hard. It seems that I have this chronic illness, because I couldn't stop thinking about food.
Can you imagine I would think about food for every 1 to 2 hours. Lapar tidak bertempat LOL.. asyik2 fikir mau makan saja.. rasa macam mau makan sesuatu saja. Penat otak saya mau lawan the craving of food..
source: google
I really don't have idea on why I been through this. "What happened to me?" This question always appeared in my mind.
Hubby pun jadi tekanan sebab balik2 saya cakap mau makan sesuatu. As if I am a pregnant lady pula LOL.. I've never been like this before (except during pregnant Lah..). I struggled to avoid food due to advice by hubby. Hari-hari saya kena sound oleh dia.. Dia ckp nanti saya jadi gumuk..doiii.. That was scary me!!
But now I am okay already. Thank GOD, all back to normal. I'm not crave for food anymore. Really praise to GOD.
Thank you GOD for hearing my prayer. ;)
I wonder why I craved for food so much. Is that because the changes of hormone or it is normal for a mother who gave birth to a baby?.. Hmm..really don't have a clue.

18 November 2011
The hair story..
It's been 2 months 3 weeks and 3 days since I gave birth to baby Gabriel..The post-natal effect is now affected me. Yes, that is the hair fall problem..
I discovered this problem few days back. I am sure most of post-natal ladies experienced the same. I heard it is because the hormones thing. Mostly two to three months after delivery, the hormones started to change back to normal, therefore the problem such as hair loss will occured.
I don't know when it will be stopped. I heard some of mothers experienced this problem until 1 year period of time.
So, dear mothers out there who faced this problem, please share your experiences and care to share your method on how to overcome it. :)
Really glad to hear from you.
That's it.
Have a blast Friday ;)

6 Steps to Healthier Hair
Using the wrong gels, combs, or accessories can wreak havoc on your tresses, resulting in hair damage and loss. But simple steps including choosing the right product can add luster to your locks, says a dermatologist speaking at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology.
"Hair breakage is the most common cause of hair loss," says Zoe D. Draelos, MD, clinical associate professor of dermatology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C. "The first step is to recognize the factors responsible for lackluster hair in order to learn how you can change your hair-care regimen to improve it.
Don't Scratch
"When people scratch their scalp, they also scratch their hair," she says. The average person with dandruff will scratch their head for 90 minutes a week, she says, and that can result in breakage and loss. If you've noticed dandruff -- white flakes from your scalp -- you can try a dandruff shampoo. Most of these are now formulated so that they are gentle enough to use every day. If that doesn't take care of it, talk to a dermatologist about what treatments may relieve the itch.
Be Gentle With Long Hair
"Long hair is weaker at the ends," she says. Thus, "yanking, pulling, stretching, or combing or brushing it for 100 strokes a day is not a good idea," she says. If you have long hair that is damaged, consider switching to a shorter style to improve your hair's overall appearance.
Use Better Styling Tools
"When choosing a comb, look for a broad-tooth comb with smooth, rounded teeth that easily slips through hair," Draelos advises. "Or a widely-spaced brush that won't damage hair."
Also, "be careful with hair clips and tight-fitting rubber bands because anything that crunches, crushes, or squashes the hair can result in damage," she says. Rather than using rubber bands for ponytails, choose fabric scrunchies that loosely hold hair together.
Splurge on Hair Cuts
"Make sure you choose a trained stylist for a quality hair cut with sharp scissors," she recommends. Any defect in a scissor blade can crush or damage the hair shaft, predisposing it to split ends. "Also get frequent trims."
Avoid Products That Promise Long-Lasting Hold
"Products should leave hair flexible, not stiff," she says. Stiff styling products that promise "long-lasting" hold can actually jump-start the breakage process when you try to restyle your hair by combing it.

Avoid Excessive Hair Coloring and Bleaching
"The basic rules of hair dyeing are always staying within your coloring group, preferably dyeing hair no more than three shades from your natural color," she says. Also, try and avoid excessive chemicals. "Permanent waves that add body can ultimately weaken the hair shaft."
While getting hair relaxed can weaken hair, it can also facilitate length in people with kinky hair since it will be less likely to break when it is combed. Also, she says, hair thins with age, so chemicals used should be weaker then those used during one's younger years.

10 Best Natural Teeth Whitening Tips
In the past when you wanted white teeth you would have to go to your dentist because that was the only way to get teeth whitening, usually with corrosive tooth bleach. Although bleach preparations have improved they can still be harsh. Today there are many ways to whiten your teeth; however most of them involve dangerous chemicals that may be able to seep through the delicate tissues in your mouth, under the tongue. You can avoid the potential problems, from whitening your teeth, that you might get from chemical exposure through tooth bleaching and whitening products, kits, strips, gels and systems.
There are a few natural ways to whiten your teeth or prevent them from discoloring and a form of natural bleaching in some cases. In this article I'll list a few tips for natural treatments you can do at home.
1. First of all the obvious one of making regular appointments for cleaning your teeth is first on the list. Many people let this slide but it's important to not only get on a regular schedule with the dentist's office setting up future appointments but also having them call and remind you to come in. Once you get on a schedule of once or twice a year then you will find you don't need to worry about whiter teeth as often, except if you smoke.
2. Make sure to brush and floss your teeth at least twice a day. Make sure to floss at bedtime and use a cheap gum massager to get under the gum flap. You want to prevent the buildup of plaque, which can discolor your teeth. Focusing on your teeth will help you prevent some staining of your teeth.
You want to avoid getting plaque as much as possible. Carry floss with you. And floss discreetly when eating out. At home you can floss while you watch TV if you seem to not get around to it after meals. But make sure to floss at bedtime because you have six to nine hours or more while you're sleeping when the bacteria can go to work on the enamel. Make sure to rinse your mouth after eating.
3. Avoid drinking water with any added fluoride or using toothpaste with fluoride as it's been reported that it can discolor or stain your teeth. Also many other countries have banned fluoride in their drinking water due to diseases and symptoms that have been connected with it.
4. If you smoke, try to cut down as much as possible and of course it's better for your health to quit smoking altogether as you no doubt know. Smokers have a more difficult time keeping their teeth white than non-smokers so you may have to work harder at it.
5. Coffee and tea are notorious for causing teeth staining. Make sure to sip or rinse your mouth with water while you're drinking coffee or tea and after you're done. Colas and wine can also cause stains on the teeth.
6. Some fruits such as strawberries are excellent tooth whiteners. Strawberries can be rubbed on the teeth or mashed up in a paste and brushed on. Leave on the teeth for five minutes. Rinse well.
You can use the inside of an orange peel which is also good for whitening. You can rub the peel right on your teeth, or take organic dried orange peel and ground bay leaves and make a paste and brush it on. Some people swear by a lemon juice and salt mixture too. In any case make sure to rinse your mouth well after using these natural tooth whitening treatments.
7. Baking soda has long been used for dental whitening. Many types of toothpaste have baking soda in their ingredients because of its effectiveness. You can make your own baking soda whitener though. Just mix baking soda with a little salt - a good cheap teeth whitening home remedy.
8. Avoid using mouthwashes. Besides alcohol they contain other chemicals that can stain or discolor teeth. They can easily absorb through the delicate tissues under your tongue and be absorbed into your system. One well-known mouthwash was reported recently to actually discolor the teeth with brown stains.
9. Drinks lots of water. Rinse your mouth thoroughly after every meal or snack to make sure no food residue is sticking to your teeth.
10. Try to eat a better diet with lots of raw foods - fruits and veggies. Make huge salads. Avoid fast food and processed food as much as possible. Avoid constant snacking. All of this will help give you brighter, whiter teeth with fewer cavities.
Teeth whitening by using natural treatments will prevent exposure to harsh chemicals. Natural whitening is cheap and almost free in most cases. You can have a winning smile without hurting the tissues in your mouth and damaging the enamel on your teeth.

Lose Weight By Eating Ice Cream??
Hot new research reveals that ice cream, when eaten as part of a healthy diet, may actually melt away fat, helping you lose weight quicker than if you abstained! Plus a dish a day helps you get healthier in other ways according to Marsha Hudnall's book, THE ICE CREAM DIET.
But before you head out for a couple of gallons of ice cream remember that too much can find it's way to the hips, belly and other unwanted places.
One of the key benefits of ice cream is that it may satisfy your cravings better than any other food. "When we tell ourselves we can't have something, we immediately focus our attention on what's forbidden, which increases our desire and chances of losing control," says Marsha Hudnall, RD, of Green Mountain at Fox Run, a "non-diet" weight control spa.
A key benefit of ice cream is the calcium it provides. Only 4% of women over 50 meet the daily 1,200 mg goal. The average female calcium intake is only 652 mg. Less than one third of men reach these same goals.
Calcium is also ice cream's "secret" slim down ingredient. In a recent study, overweight people who took a calcium supplement lost 38% more body fat than those who ate the same reduced-calorie diet without the supplement.
How does calcium help you lose? A diet low in calcium shuts down your body's fat burning ability, say experts. When your body doesn't get enough calcium, it triggers fat cells to store fat and get bigger.
So, how much ice cream is "reasonable?" The guideline is a one-half cup serving of no more than 125 calories. My personal favorite is Bryers No Sugar Added Vanilla. It has only 120 calories per 1/2 cup and the flavor reminds me of the "good old days" when we took turns cranking the six quart ice cream freezer full of moms special recipe. Ummm good.

Wow!..it's a good news for me..haha.. I love ice-cream.. Don't you?
