We paid a wedding anniversary package from Life Bridal on last February, did the fitting and shooting on October and the album will be completed in 2 weeks time; it would be before Christmas. 

Excited and can't wait! :D

Happy Monday friends!

How is your day?.. I guess some of you might feel it is blue Monday. Well don't be. Just think out that it will pass quickly.. Indeed time really flies, isn't it ?.. :)

Well, today I would like to share with you the important task that I'd been involved about a couple weeks ago. If you happened to read my post entitled A Movie Day Out, I am sure you really waiting for this post.

Actually the important task that I had been involved was the wedding of Bede and Luziana. My hubby was appointed as an official photographer for their wedding. And as usual hubby asked me for help. Well, I did not refused the offer, but as you know I have to think about Gabriel and so on. And yes, finally we agreed to send Gabriel to his grandma, for the whole Saturday.

The wedding ceremony took place at Sepanggar (the bride's resident), where the photography works began as early as 7 am, started from the bride's make-up session. I did the shots for the make-up session as hubby said the bride might be more comfortable if a lady photographer did the shots. And I guess so..

The preparation now ended at about 9 am and proceed to St. Thomas Church in Kepayan. The wedding mass started at 10 am. Feels like, macam saya pula mau kawin balik..LOL. Seriously, everytime I do shots of a wedding in church, it's a reminiscence of our wedding back in 2007. Oh how I miss that moment.. :D

As usual, as the wedding mass ended, the photo-shooting then started. It's involving the whole family of the bride and groom. All were happy faces. Indeed, I love to see those smiles and of course I put it in my shots. ;)

All the way from St Thomas Church, Kepayan, the whole family including the bride and groom proceed back to Sepanggar where the wedding reception was held. By this time, we managed to took lunch at Lintas for a while before heading to the wedding reception to continue the work of shooting there.

It was a very hot weather. But somehow, we managed to finish the task. I am gratefully thanks to the couple for giving us full trust to be their official photographer on their special day.

Walaupun panas, puas hati jg dapat tingu urang minum2, dancing2 and karaoke lg tu. Ada tu satu uncle nyanyi lagu dusun, atukoi..funny betul. Indeed, he made my day di hari yg terlampau panas itu..hehe..

FEBRUARY..the month of LOVE

Tomorrow will be the last day of February.. So how was your February so far?.. 

We couldn't celebrate Valentine's Day this year because dear hubby had to attend a department meeting/course until late night in Kota Kinabalu. And plus I had to help him to cover a photography project at Kota Marudu.

It was last minute planned department meeting/course for hubby. Meanwhile a client had booked my hubby to be his official photographer on his engagement day a month earlier. Obviously hubby's meeting clashed with the photography project.

I still remember I posted about how I want to do photography thing again. So, I offered a help. Little Gabriel was sent to Putatan, to his Grandma.

Kind of nervous because I never deal with this thing before. I mean without my hubby. But I believe I can do it. Praise to GOD everything was fine.

And it was a history ever in my life. For the 1st time I drove to Kota Marudu all the way from Kota Kinabalu, to be exact right from the OneBorneo building because I had to send hubby to his meeting place first. It took about 2 hours to reached Kota Marudu. And of course I had to deal with the gravel road and holes on the pavement here and there along Ulu Kukut (on the way to KM).

I reached Marudu Inn (where the client celebrates his engagement ceremony) safely with my brother. There were just 2 of us to cover for the photography of the engagement ceremony.

By the way, I felt a bit sad because I couldn't spend precious time with dear hubby on Valentine's Day. Honestly, I never felt like this before over a Valentine's Day celebration.

 However, I comforted myself that there are things we can't avoid. Therefore, I accepted this in a positive way as there are more days to come. I mean, Valentine's Day could be everyday if you really want it.. Right?.. :D

Surprisingly, dearest hubby was thoughtful enough. As we reached home, he said he wanted to go to meeting again for the evening session. Rupanya meeting dia kena batal yang malam punya session. 

He returned home with a box of Valentine's cake for me. How sweet.. and he really knows my fav cake. Yes, it was chocolate cake..:)

A surprise Valentine's Day treat from dear hubby..:D

I really appreciate this. It his thought that counts. We were busy and I never thought he would find a time to do this for me. And he really did it.. :D

I thanked GOD for giving me this person in my life, and grateful enough for uniting me with this sweet man. GOD bless him. 

But I didn't do anything so far in return to this surprise treat LOL.. Yang penting I still be with him lovingly and still remember to wish him Valentine's day ba kan..hehe..:P

Fun and Want To Do it Again ;)

Last Saturday, I went helping my hubby doing his photography work.

It was really fun. And I am willing to do it again.

Though it was tiring, it was fun to do it. 

I mean I was able to see the special moment of others wedding and really happy to capture the blissful moments.

I Love to see those smiles. Those happy smiles must be kept in pictures especially on a big day like this.

For an info, my hubby is a part-time photography for an event especially in actual wedding event.

This is the 2nd time I helped my hubby doing his photography work. This time, the whole day event started at Tamparuli, where the bride done her makeover at a bridal shop. We managed to shoot the makeover moment. 

The wedding vow was done at St John Church in Tuaran, meanwhile the wedding reception was held at Tun Fuad Hall in Penampang. 

Yes, indeed it was tiring. But to see those happiness smiles reminds me my own wedding around 4 years ago.. :)

Mcm mau kawin lagi balik pula..hehehe..
