The Year 2021

It has been 3 years. I haven't up any entries in this blog. There were so much things happened throughout these 3 years.

This year itself, I received so much devastated news. Lost few friends and relatives. The year where we were fighting with the pandemic Covid-19. In fact, the pandemic started last year somewhere in January to February (in Malaysia) and the government have to enforced lockdown to the whole nation in March 2020. Many of the citizens lost their jobs. The small business also affected, some of the businesses were closed down. School also closed down. Many of us have to work from home. Kids learn through online class.

Many also lost their life because of the Covid-19. Just two days ago, I received news from my sister in-law that our aunty who lives in Kepayan has died from Covid-19. She suffered from kidney failure and runs dialysis regularly. Getting worse after infected with Covid. And passed away at quarantine centre.

Life is so fragile. When i see the numbers of those who loss due Covid-19. In a blink of eyes. Today you are here with friends and family, tomorrow gone without saying good bye. It is depressing just the thought of this.

Therefore please treasure the relationship you have with your family. Spend more time with them. Especially during this pandemic era, please follow the SOPs strictly. Take care of yourself and your family, always practice hygiene and stay at home if there is no urgent things to do outside. And most importantly, please get vaccinated. It's free. One of our effort to fight the deathly illness. If you are not doing it for yourself, do it for your loved ones. They deserve it.

Autism Awareness Month - Part 1

Last month which is April 2016, was the month of Autism Awareness. Hubby and I decided to join some event that related to this Autism thingy to show our support.

We joined the Walk for Autism on 2nd April 2016 and 7km Autism Fun Run on 24th April 2016.

The Walk for Autism was held at Perdana Park Tanjung Aru. This was our first time event. We haven't join any event like this before. So we brought Gabriel together in this event, our one and only son. I was amazed that he had fun while walking together with the crowd. No tantrum or cranky. Just being himself, a happy-go-lucky boy. We're so blessed to have a son like him, because he is so special to us.

The route was from Perdana Park and up to Plaza Tanjung Aru, to the Balai Polis Tanjung Aru, up to SM La salle School and SM Stella Maris Tanjung Aru, Dewan La Salle and walk again all the way until we reach at Perdana Park again.

We are so proud with our lil boy. He could walk all the way until the finishing line without asking for a carry to his daddy. He even ran towards the finishing line. The walk took about 1 hour long and it was about 3km route (i wasn't really sure how long the route cause they didn't mention it while we registered ).

So here are some of the photos captured during the event.

Gabriel is so excited ! :)

I stumbled upon a long lost friend, Adelene. She was my ex-classmate during primary school somewhere in 1988-1993.

Just right before the walk, wefie together! :)

Our Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Panglima Musa Hj Aman launching the event.

Like Daddy Like Son.. :)

Just right after the walk. So thirsty.. :)

Gabriel meet his teacher here. Teacher Billy..

All blue.. The blue spirit.. Thumbs up to all the participants.

A memorable photo at the finishing line.. All wet with sweat.. :)

Thank you for reading this post. I'll continue with the Part 2 post soon. The part where we joined the 7km Autism Fun Run at Bukit Padang.

Till then, have a great week ahead. GOD BLESS!

Gabriel 2nd day at school

Gabriel second day at school was a way better. I gave him a bottle of milk and his daddy bring him to pee at school's toilet before sending him to class. The fact that he was very excited to enter the class, makes me very happy. I bet every parent will feel the same.

Thank God he was finally slowly getting use to go to school. He was excited with a lot of friends and of course there are toys in the class too. I was standing next to the door and when he arrived at his class, he straightly went into the class and played the toys.

Gabriel with red neck shirt was really focus playing with the toy

He was really focus with the toys. He didn't care with mummy anymore

I am definitely happy with the progress and hoping he'll learn more exciting things in class everyday. Prayer for my little boy may God bless him abundantly.

Gabriel 1st Day at School

On last Monday, 1st September 2015 was the 1st day our Gabriel went to kindergarten at Tadika Kasih Bonda St Benedict, Ranau. He was afraid at first, trying to find us while we sneak on him from the school's office. He was crying but not for so long.

I was crying, my heart was breaking to see he's crying but i was firm to let he learn about it. I know he is a strong boy. Sooner or later he will learn to be independent and growing up to a brave boy. Gabriel is a very special boy for us. Though he is delay in his speech but i have faith in God that one day he will become a very talkative boy and i know for sure that God had His own plan to our beloved boy.

The Sister trying to comforts Gabriel during breakfast time. He doesn't want to eat. Maybe because this is his first time and not used to it. After few attempts, Gabriel managed to calm down and ate his breakfast. Good job Sister! :)

I stayed at the school's canteen the whole day to see his progress at school. The thing that worrying me the most is that how would he tell the teachers when he wants to pee. I had potty train him for 4 weeks now and he is doing very find. Because i am his mother and staying with him at home for 24 hours, i know how and when exactly he wants to pee or poo. He would stand in front of me or pull my hand trying to let me know something and that is his way to tell me that he wants to pee.

And this is very new to him when at class. But i hope teacher will cope with this and Gabriel too. I prayed for the best and may Gabriel learns a new thing everyday.

Life is So Unpredictable

Life is so unpredictable.
Anything could be happened in a blink of eye.
Therefore, surrender everything to God and make everything the best everyday.
You'll never know what you might lost today.. It could be the most precious thing in your life.

Cherish everyday.. Cherish every moment..

I rest my heart to You oh Lord. Have mercy on me and please strengthen my heart to move on..

My boy is now growing up so fast.
I'm all emotional about him growing up that fast.

I was wondering how is he when he enters primary school.. No more kisses and hugs i guess?.. I must be missing those someday..

I'll cherish every moment now. I hope you grows well and i'll promise to be the best mom to you.

I might not the best mother in the world, but i know deep in my heart i'll be the best mother to you..

It's Tuesday and I'm now 15 Weeks 3 days

Hi dear readers,

Thanks for still taking your time to visit my humble blog. It's Tuesday and i am sure most of us must be looking forward for weekend right?.. The days where we spend quality time with family.

To be honest, I always looking forward for Friday because hubby will be back to KK every Friday. Luckily for this week he'll be working in KK for the whole week because he has to attend some meetings and to entertain patients. Praise to God. :)

So today i'm in 15 weeks 3 days preggy.  Oh i can't wait this baby to be fully grown in my belly.

I'm excited and hubby as well. To tell you about my experience for this second pregnancy, of course there are slightly different compared to my pregnancy in 2011.

This is actually my 3rd pregnancy. My 1st pregnancy was somewhere in 2008 but God loves her more. She went home to God's house on 20th Dec 2008. Aww it's a long story, I'll try to fit in some time to blog about it later.

I had severe morning sickness when i was carrying Gabriel in my womb for about 8 months in 2011 and the first and second trimester were the worst. I cried everyday cause i can't take any food, I'll vomit and lying on the bed all day. I felt so weak and I even vomit at 2-4am. Oh my, i think those were the horrible days of my life..

For this pregnancy, I had morning sickness too on the first trimester. The first 2 months was quite severe too. But later i found out that i can't take any oily food, stir fry food and all those meals that contain spices, so i tried to avoid all these food and amazingly my nausea becoming slowly to cool down.

However, the things that are new for me with this pregnancy is i had bloated tummy, the sensation of heartburn, i had problem with my digestion system and constipation.

And one fine day hubby advised me to practice Yoga. I didn't practice Yoga for the first 7 weeks due to morning sickness. My body was so weak that i lie on bed most of the time. I goggled for yoga for bloating pregnancy and found this site; Beat Bloat with Yoga.

It was amazing how these Yoga poses had worked wonders to all those problems i mentioned above. Thanks to hubby for reminding me to continue practicing Yoga. The moment i practice Yoga and the breathing technique, it restores my energy and improves my digestion. The bloated belly and constipation are now less problem to me. So, those who want to get rid with bloated tummy, constipation or having digestion problem (whether you are pregnant or not ) you can practice all those Yoga poses from the site i mentioned in the previous paragraph.

Ok, that is all for now. Thanks for visiting here. Now i'm sharing with you my ultrasound scan during my 13 weeks pregnancy.

Aren't these cute?..  :)

See you again in my next post. Till then, have a great week ahead. GOD bless. :)

Welcoming 2015

Oh my haha..

I think it is too late for this post on welcoming the year 2015 LOL. And this is the very first post for the year 2015 after a long pause. Trust me i am really missing this blog but so much things happened lately. I miss my readers and all your feedbacks too. And my fellow bloggers as well, of course. :)

Wow, it is the month of March now so i am planning to blog more this year compared to last year. Wish me luck! haha..

So what is my current update?.. What is happening lately?.. Mostly my followers in IG and Fb would know, but i just wanna make it official in this blog.

So here are the current things that I need to cope in the year 2015 :-

1. Our Lil Boy Entered Playschool.
My not so lil' boy, Gabriel Aiden is now enrolled in playschool since January 2015. He'll be 4 in August, so we decided to let him to the playschool so that he could meet some new friends and learning to fit in some new environment in preparation for kindergarten next year.

So far, so good but it is normal right in the beginning he was scared to enter the school. He cried out loud and my heart breaks to see this. But this is for his own good. We want him to learn and interact with other kids.

This is really a new experience for us (Hubby and I) for sending our son to school and we were trying to cope this new thing. Daily routine to send and pick up our son from school now become part of our life just similar with other parents. We have to alert and wake up early in the morning to send our son to school.

And when Hubby is not around (because his work now based in Ranau), I'll played the roll to send our son to school and i have to wake up early in the morning..huhu! No more honeymoon like last year hehe!

2. Our Lil Boy is going to be a Big Brother soon! :)
Yes, it is a good news right?.. hehe... My due date is in by the end of August 2015 (according to the latest ultrasound scan) and it was really coincidence right?.. Gabriel also was born in the month of August. :D

I'll be 15 weeks pregnant on this coming Saturday (7th March) and I can't wait for the next prenatal visit to scan my belly again. I'm eager to know the gender of this baby. I guess in the next visit i would be 18 weeks and suppose the gender could be discovered by now. :)

We are hoping for a baby girl, but all is in the hand of God. It's a God's plan. We accept it with warm heart. :)

Oh my, it is 12.15pm now. I have to get ready to pick up Gabriel from school. Catch up with you again later! :)

Thanks for visiting here. And oh ya, Happy Chap Goh Mei to those celebrating! :)

Have a great week ahead. God bless. :)

A Gloomy Friday vs A Happy Friday

Oh what a gloomy Friday. This cold weather makes me lazy. It's hard to get off from the bed. Feels like i want to sleep all day long. Oh, i am a MOM, i cannot do that! LOL

The house agent actually contacted my husband through a phone call few days ago telling that she would come by today to view the house at around 1pm. Now at 4 hours later, she still didn't turn up. I wanted to do my daily yoga routine but i'm afraid that she'll suddenly knocks the door haha! Well, i'm feeling lazy today though so the yoga session has been cancelled. I guess it is because of the weather too LOL.

Today, A Year Ago

Today, a year ago we inside a plane heading to the UK.

I was nervous this time around because we were travelling for a long journey ( almost 13 hours) with our lil boy. He just entered 2 year old and the fact that he might get cranky to sit on a plane for long hours made me worry.

Traveling with small kid might be challenging but great experience. I have one kid at the moment. Hat off to those parents out there who are traveling with more kids! :)

It was my first ever experience onboard as well for this long hours journey and to the place i have never been before. I can say it was exciting but at the same time i was trembling haha..

As i recalled back in the beginning of the journey, i must be grateful and Praise to God because our little boy didn't get cranky and he sleeps almost of the hours, because our flight from Kuala Lumpur to London Heathrow scheduled at midnight (Malaysia Time).

He sleeps throughout the journey. He did wake up for about an hour though and fall asleep again.

It was amazing experience, good memories and like a dream comes true. But not all journey are smooth. You might encounter few obstacles before reaching your destination. Furthermore, this was our first time, right?.. :)

I still remember the moment we reached at Heathrow Airport, we lost Gabriel's stroller haha. We have to walk all the way to the departure hall again to look for the stroller.

Another thing is the thorough checking at London airport before we get another plane to Manchester Airport, with Gabriel's bottle milk, medicine and 'bosou' ( Sabah traditional cuisine). I think i'd blogged this before.

Trust me, you'll relieved when everything falls into place, and for that you'll never fail to be grateful, the things that God has guided you. Oh, it was really a great experience!

Well, what a coincident though. Today is exactly a year we travelled to the UK and there goes my #ThrowbackThursday as today is Thursday. :)

That is all for now. Thank you for visiting here.
God bless and have a great week ahead.

Gabriel is 3!

We celebrated our lil boy's birthday on last week (25th August 2014). It was just a simple celebration for the three of us. Since our family and friends far away in KK, so here were we, just the three of us.

Since our lil boy likes minion, i made a minion deco birthday cake for him.

The moment he saw the cake, he wanted to pinch the minion's eyes..LOL

It is a chocolate moist flavour. Glad he ate the cake, though he is not so into cake.

How time flies... Our lil boy is 3 now. And soon he will enter school. I miss when he was a newborn but at the same time can't wait to see him as a big boy..Supaya boleh tolong mummy masak dan cuci piring di dapur hahaha

I am blessed to have such a lovely and sweet family.

Thank you God for this meaningful gift.

Thank you for Your guidances and blessings.

Please lead me and my family to a better path of life according to your way. Amen

I pray may when Gabriel grown up, he will be a good man, a good citizen, respect the elders, keep in faith in Jesus Christ and loving to his parents. A good career in life,  generous and kindhearted. Amen ..

Thank you for reading here. Have a great day ahead.

The North Wales Experience: The Beach House

We (hubby and I with our lil boy)  just came back from 2 nights trip to North Wales on last Friday. The journey took 1 hour via train from Chester station to Llandudno Station.

I'm so happy this time because Gabriel (our lil boy), is now getting used to travel around via train. Not like the first time we travel to Manchester City, where he cried out loud the moment we get inside the train. And as the train stop at any station he will cried too. I guess he's now getting used to it and he likes to sit near the window where he can view sceneries while the train is moving.

Upon arriving at Llandudno Train Station.

We stayed at Beach House Bed and Breakfast Llandudno. The most comfortable guest house we ever stayed. The family room is so spacious and the price per night is affordable. We had fun and great experience. Especially the guest house, the beach side and country side. So calming and wish to visit here again.

The owner of the Beach House is so friendly and warm. I like her. She really understands the things we need especially travelling with lil kid. My experience staying at this guest house is wonderful. The room is very clean and comfortable to stay and complete with toileteris like shampoo and shower gel, towels, sweet treats for kids, mineral water, and hairdryer. Free WIFI available.

They served Welsh traditional breakfast, apart from toast and cereal. The breakfast area is so clean too and provided with baby chair. Unlike few of bed and breakfast we ever stayed in Chester and London, baby chair is not available.

So here are few pics i want to share:-

In front of the Beach House

The Beach House. The guest house we stayed for 2 nights.

The Welsh Traditional breakfast

My lil boy and hubby during breakfast

The room. It is family room type at first floor.

The Bathroom

The whole bathroom floor is in carpet

As you can see the name of the guest house we stayed is the Beach House. Yes, it is located near the beach. You can see the beachside from the window. And it is so windy too. A lot of seagulls flying here and there. There's a lot of guest houses, resorts and apartments along the beach. And in the middle there is square which they called the Prince Edward Square. (i'll post more about this later in my next post).

The view from window. Gabriel really loves to stand near the window. He loves to see what is going on outside. What a calming view. Just like a painting.

That is all for now. If you happen to have vacation in Llandudno, North Wales, this guest house really recommended.  I love the clean and spacious room because as you tired of walking exploring the city for the whole day, and when you came back to your room, it never fails to make you calm and relax.

That is all for now. Have a great week ahead.
Stay tune for my next post about the beachside and Llandudno town. I may share some pics.

Thank you for visiting my blog.
Take care.

Christmas Eve 2013

Hello everyone!
Yesterday supposed to be my 6th wedding anniversary but i'm not gonna write about our anniversary for now coz i'm going to post about our preparation for Christmas this year. I'll post about our anniversary soon, of course.

For the 1st time in our life, we celebrated Christmas that are thousand miles from our hometown. With just a simple dinner on Christmas eve and attended Masses as well.

Our Birthday December 2013

Hubby threw me a surprise birthday gift again. This time he put the gift above my head while i was sleeping. To be honest, I didn't expect any gift. All i want was, he always be there for me on my birthday. Unfortunately, he has to attend class for the whole day during my birthday. Therefore, i think that was why he threw me a surprise gift at exactly 12am on 13 Dec.

I was quite sad actually that he couldn't spend time with me on my birthday. But, then we could celebrate again 4 days later.

The 1st Touchdown Flashback

I can't describe the feeling when we touched down at London Heathrow Airport for the first time. Been away from my hometown for almost 13 hours journey and 6990 miles away from Kota Kinabalu, made me nervous and excited at the same time, so did hubby.

Here are the things that happened upon we reached at the UK:-

Recalling Back the Beginning & The 12 hours Journey

Hello dear readers,
Now that I have the chance to share about my life here in the UK. I would like to share the beginning of our journey to a place that is really unfamiliar to me.

It was exactly 6th of April 2013, the hubs received a good news about his application to further study. I was trembling to hear the news at first. Yes, trust me. The feeling of excited and happiness are at the bottom list. I was trembling because I have never been in my life to fly as far as to the place like UK. The farthest I'd been away from hometown are Beijing and Korea, and that was only for 10 days trip.

And why should I afraid and trembling to hear such news?.. haha. I don't know! Maybe it was because i myself couldn't believe it at first?.. And of course the mind began to think about all the things in the new place. People over there?.. culture?.. language?.. weather?.. and so on.. But deep in my heart, I'm so happy for my hubby.

Gabriel 2nd Birthday, 25th August 2013

Yesterday was the birthday celebration for our precious son, Gabriel Aiden. Time flies so fast. Feels like he came to our life yesterday.

We decided to do just a simple celebration for him. Inviting only family members. Yes, an event only for immediate family.

The birthday celebration was held at Jack & Pot, Penampang on afternoon. I am glad that most of family members came to attend this birthday celebration. Although it was only a simple celebration, it was fun. It feels great for the family to meet each other.

This family event was attended by two part of families. From my side and hubby's side. They didn't meet each other for a long time, and this is a good catch up, during events like birthday.

23 August 2013

Kundasang Trip August 2013

I decided to have a one day trip to Kundasang on the 3rd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Feels like it's been a long time haven't visit there. In fact it has been 2 years since we visit there. Hubby agreed. He said that was a good idea, to spend the quality time together since it is a public holiday.

KL & Malacca Trip July 2013

Hello dear friends,
Wow it's been nearly a month I didn't post anything here.

I didn't realize it has been a month. There were so much things happened in that time of frame.

So i pick up the story about our trip to KL and Malacca from 23rd-29th July 2013.

It was actually unplanned trip. We bought air flight ticket at last minute since hubby's youngest brother getting engaged with a sweet girl from Malacca on the 27th July.

So, at first we bought air flight ticket from 26th-29th July. But something came up. We have to apply our Visa in KL so hubby dragged backward the date to 23rd July.

Our Visa is done by now. Everything is in plan. Thank You GOD. (will blog it out more later about that Visa thing.. :P )

Father's Day 2013

Father's Day this year was quite special for me, although we celebrated the event over only a simple lunch and dinner. Yes, we celebrated over a lunch for my daddy, while dinner for my hubby's daddy.

This year was a special because I get to baked cuppies for my daddy for the first time. I mean, I baked for the first time for father's day. I never bake anything before for Father's day. All these years, i would buy cakes from my fav cake shop in Damai.
