I'm Back!

Hello there!

Yes, I'm back!.. I'm back to baking mode! I have started to take cake orders starting this month (Nov 2014) and how i miss to bake for my family and friends!. 

Now that I'm in KK, i have plenty of time to bake even though i have to sneak in some time during my lil toddler napping time or in the midnight.

I arrived in Malaysia on the 3rd October 2014 and officially touched down KK on 8th October 2014. (will blog out about this later). I am so happy that now i get to bake for family and friends and continue to explore new recipes. I am very excited to try some recipes and few are already on the list.

Recently i baked the Carrot Walnut Cake for the first time and it was really good. The taste was really nice and wish to bake it again. The recipe was quite straight forward. I'll blog it out the recipe soon. 

 Carrot Walnut Cake

The carrot walnut recipe isn't too sweet and i think it really suit to my taste. It is moist but not oily. I brought it to my parent's house last Sunday. They are always been my cake taster since the early phase of my baking works haha! The feedback was good and encouraging. 

Here are the carrot walnut cake I baked for tea time. Hubby requested for cream cheese topping and it works marvelous! It was a great combination. But i have to refrain myself from eating this more. Well, you know..  because I'm a dessert lover haha! I could finish the whole plate by myself hahaha! And surely the next day i will blame myself when i saw my waistline increases to 2 inches!..  :P

Chocolate Moist Cake with Frozen topper

 

Chocolate CheeseCake which is rich in Chocolate because i used Dark Chocolate compound in the batter.

 

 Carrot Walnut Cake with Cream Cheese frosting ordered by a friend only for 'makan-makan'.

New Toy, Happy Mode On :)

Hello dear readers,

How is your day today?.. I hope everything is good. No matter what happened today, be grateful for even a small thing. 

I am grateful for everything, for every blessings that God has granted my family and me as well today. Yes, i am just only an ordinary human. It is undeniable there are times i doubted something, feels down and depressed. 

But all that is the process of living and i know God never leaves me. He always be there for me and it is up to me to open my heart to let He enters in. 

Yes, absolutely. I will lean everything onto Him. Especially when it seem the whole thing hurts and no one I can lean onto anymore. He is my healer and always cheers me up in the right time, right place with His power of Love. Praise to GOD! :)

Well, I am smiling ear to ear since yesterday because i got a new toy haha! 

Rainbow Cake Recipe

Hi dear readers,

Today I'm going to share with you a rainbow cake recipe. To be honest I got this recipe from a good friend. Her name is Daphne. Thanks a lot to her for the recipe and tips. She is really nice and generous enough to share the recipe with me and she has given me green light to share this recipe. Kan Daphne?..hehe :P

I was actually fell to sick for almost more than 2 weeks. I got this recipe but I couldn't proceed myself to bake it. But Praise to GOD, i managed to bake a rainbow cake for the 1st time on last Friday. I can't believe it was a success. I overjoyed and hubby really amazed with the end result too! haha.. Baking is really a THERAPY for me hehehe.. :P

Caramel Pudding (Eggless)

Blessed Easter everyone. I guess it's not too late. We are still in the week of Easter though. I couldn't post some entry earlier because I was occupied with the Easter gathering and attacked by sore throat. 

I think it was more than 3 days now I still in throat pain. I hope this pain will be gone soon. (So that I can proceed with baking again..hehe :P)

Dark Choc Brownies & Banana Choc Chips Cake

I've been so into baking lately. I'm so sorry with that a lot of baking stories. I hope you enjoy the recipes. I really love baking and is actively baking cakes recently. And my list of baking is still so long and looking forward to share with you the recipes. 

Banana Cake Recipe

I baked a banana cake on the 3rd day of CNY. 

My heart urges me into baking a cake. I went to the kitchen and saw 3 ripe bananas. So, i decided to bake a banana cake. I Googled for simple recipe of banana cake and I found this recipe from jintanmanis.com.

Indeed it was really a simple recipe. Luckily all the ingredients can be found in my kitchen. So, i baked this banana cake during Gabriel & his daddy taking an afternoon nap. Yes, they didn't know I'm into baking that day. It was kind a surprise for them haha..

Unfortunately the moment I pour in the cake batter into a cake tin, my hubby when to the kitchen. No surprise anymore haha!..

He smile and I remember I made him guess what cake I'm baking that time. He answered, "Banana Cake!" with a  wide smile.. haha! He really could read my mind or maybe dia nampak hilang suda tu pisang..? hahaha.. :P

My February Baking

Okay enough with the LBLG stories, now moves to my February 2013 baking. :D

 As you know I am so in love with baking. It's so addicting. Couldn't agree more with Vera Peter. She's so into baking too. It was her who dragged me into this baking world. I just ventured the baking world last September 2012. I'm still new. There are still a lot of things I have to learn.

Strawberry Lava Cake/ Strawberry Fondant

How is your week so far?.. I hope everything is good.

Today I would like to share about this new recipe. This is my 1st new recipe of the year. 

Actually it is not that new. It is a lava cake with strawberry flavor instead of chocolate. A blogger friend, Lydia requested for lava cake with strawberry flavor. Honestly, I haven't bake a Strawberry fondant before and this would be my try an error recipe.

My Humble Pavlova

This is my latest baking. My humble Pavlova, Birds' Nest inspired by Anna Olson. I don't have berries fruit, therefore I used any fruits that available in my refrigerator.

The recipe was so simple though. Except it was quite challenging to create the bird nest.

I will post the recipe soon. 

So how is your preparation for Christmas?.. It is 13 days until Christmas 2012. Exciting isn't it?.. :D

Vanilla Lava Cake /Molten Cake

For this post I'll share the recipe of Vanilla Lava Cake. Several friends requested for this recipe, so here it is. I'll jot down here the ingredients and method.

I got this recipe from a friend, Ms Arlene. She got the recipe from internet and it was nice of her to share with me the recipe. However, I improvised it a bit due to my needs and comfort. Such as the butter instead of putting it all in one stick, I just added 6 tablespoon. And for the sugar, instead of 1 cup, I only used 4 tablespoon. 

First of all, I should send my thank you to Nadia too, a blogger friend who requested me to give a try to bake this cake. To my surprise it turned out nice and taste so good! My hubby really loves this cake. He can finish 2 vanilla lava cakes in a row..haha!

My Favourite Month of The Year

DECEMBER!

Indeed. December is my favorite month of the year. In fact it's my favorite month for every year. Well who's doesn't?.. I bet most of you will be the same isn't it?.. :D Most of our friends might booked for holiday destinations or had sent their leave applications. Well whatever it is, it's for the very holiday season. Everybody is exciting. The HOLIDAY mood is in the air.. :P

I'm counting days for CHRISTMAS celebration. But not only that, I'm counting for BIRTHDAYS and ANNIVERSARY too. (yeay!) 

9 DAYS until my Birthday and 13 DAYS to hubby's Birthday. 24 DAYS to our 5th Wedding Anniversary.

Wow! It's SO exciting. :D

My 1st Birthday Cake

Wow.. it's been a long. I haven't blogging for the past 2 weeks. Indeed there were lots of things happened. And you bet, I have missed a lot of stories from dear blogger friends too. Well, I guess I have to do some blogwalk after this to catch up on what I'd missed.

I've been busy with helping my husband on his photography works. Yes, a lot of couple decided to tie knot towards the end of the year. Been busy, but at the same time enjoying. I could see a lot of couples, and every wedding  have their own styles and colors. :) 

Bloggers Meet Over Choco Fondant

Sounds funny isn't it? Bloggers meet over choco fondant haha..

I made 2 boxes of choco fondants last Sunday ordered by Michelle Sung and Nadia Richard. 

I went to Sunday Mass in the morning and on the afternoon, I managed to baked the choco fondants. This was my 1st time to make 2 boxes of choco fondants in a row. I started to prepare all the ingredients at 1.30pm and finally done at 3.30pm.

I made a deal to meet Michelle and Nadia at CityMall at around 4pm. I managed to take photo with Michelle but unfortunately I couldn't take photo with Nadia because she was only stopped by at the outside of CityMall building. 

My 1st Cuppies

Tempted

Yes, I'm tempted to bake cupcakes. (Oh my..baking is addicting!)
I really want to bake cupcakes today but hubby said wait until tomorrow, because if I bake cupcakes tomorrow I can bring them fresh from oven to my parent's house. 

Well, we're going to visit my parent tomorrow and I'm thinking of bringing something for them. Yes, I want to let them to have a taste of my cupcakes! hehe.. Hope they'll like it. It is more like practicing for the coming of Christmas Day.  

So, I hope I could manage time to bake cupcakes tomorrow. It would be chocolate cupcakes. Of course it'll be chocolate flavor because I love chocolate. I guess you'll see more and more chocolate flavour (recipes) from me..haha..

Chocolate Fondant / Lava Cake Recipe

Chocolate Fondant / Lava Cake Recipe was my 1st baking after I bought an oven on last Friday (26th October 2012). I decided to bake this cake after I saw a friend posted about it on Instagram. It's look tempting and I told myself why don't I bake it myself?.. So i decided to bake choco fondant on the next day. Most of the ingredients are really easy to find. You can find it in any bakery shop that are selling baking ingredients as well as baking utensils.

No Bake Chocolate Cheesecake

This is my 3rd cake. I decided to make a chocolate cheesecake after my 2nd cake which is plain cheesecake.

It's very easy though. There is no oven required. You just chill it in your fridge. This is my 1st time to make a chocolate cheesecake. Fortunately it turn out nice.

My 1st Cake

It's been a while. I was so busy lately with the moving things. I mean i am sure most of you knew it already. I moved to KK on last Sunday. Yes that was our final day in Kudat. Well, I definitely will blog about it later.

No-Bake Cheesecake

Hello dear friends,
for those who're asking me for the no-bake cheesecake recipe, now i write it down here in this post. :D

I received this no-bake cheesecake recipe from a friend, Ms Conchita. She's handy with baking. She's also the one who influences me to bake cheesecakes. 

I didn't ever know that you can bake a cheesecake without oven. Yes, you can just put it inside your refrigerator. Thanks to Conchita for telling me this and for the recipe! :)
